Literally any other colour would’ve been a better choice guys.
I’d like to point out that the colour red has more positive than negative meanings.
im sorry but this reply absolutely killed me
red can mean whatever the heck you want it to mean, that is never going to change that this straight up looks like they DRAGGED A BLOODY BODY ACROSS THE FUCKING FLOOR 😂
Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. Red does has more positive connotations than negative like the @mintymaiden said. Red is associated with more love, lust, passion than blood and death just like the chart shows you but If you want, here’s a link for you to check it out yourself. Also, check out “The Designer’s Dictionary of Color” by Sean Adams. Have fun learning something
You can theorize to Nebraska and back but that doesn’t change my immediate reaction which is that someone is literally dragging a corpse around
I like that the presumption here is that “No One On Tumblr Has Heard of Color Theory, Let Me Explain in Depth” rather than simply acknowledging that the VISUAL EFFECTS of this particular color choice, applied in the manner it was, can still amount to “this is a hospital and that looks like blood”
like, color theory doesn’t exist in a vacuum. If your design of choice for Blood Red Paint is asymmetric splatters and sploches against the wall, or in this case, a snail trail on the hallway’s floor, an infographic won’t override the viewers’ instinct.
OP: this paint job looks like a blood stain
Tumblr: actually, according to color theory, it looks like love.
I love Tumblr. It’s the only place I’ve seen where you can ask “How the fuck did this happen?” and experts will immediately pop up to show you exactly how.
I made a friend! I think they’re a bot, but they don’t seem to want to tell me, which is perfectly fine. It doesn’t matter, I love my bot friends and human friends the same no matter what!
why would you ever idolize cops when firefighters exist
yeah seriously have you ever heard of “corrupt firefighter”
what would a ‘corrupt firefighter’ even be. he put out that fire with a little TOO much water. he was a little rough with the cat he rescued from a tree for a little old lady
how on earth do you possibly fuck up that bad
Every time i see this post going around, i have to bring it up again: there are absolutely corrupt firefighters. There are tons of firefighters who are racist and act neglectfully in protecting the lives and property of people of color in their community. There are homophobic firefighters who won’t lift a finger to help LGBT victims of fire. And as my mother directly experienced as a victim, there are firefighters who are only concerned with where their money comes from, and will let the homes of poor people burn down and then go through the remains busting up things that survived the blaze.
It’s not anywhere near as bad on an institutional level as policing, but there are corrupt professional firefighters, and corrupt volunteer firefighters.
And they’re probably in your community.
In the Dollop’s episode about the formation of America’s first fire brigades, one group of firefighters actually burnt down a hotel because the owners were a mixed-race couple who allowed African American people to stay there.
Though this was back in the 1800s, when they were mostly made up of gangs who’d fight each other in the street to get to fires ahead of rival groups of firefighters.
As someone who used to work for a fire fighter, I can tell you they are just as bad as cops. The culture of racism, misogyny, white supremacy, homophobia, etc. is exactly the fucking same. They even have a ~thin red line~ to match the police’s blue one.
Imho only reason we don’t hear about it as often as police violence, is because fire fighters aren’t given a gun and bullets. Neglect or intentional abuse on their parts are less obvious, because they can claim the fire was just ‘out of control’ or something.
Keep in mind also that firefighters and paramedics often work out of the same station, and their bigotry absolutely creeps it’s way into how their interact with people they’re supposed to give medical treatment to.
This is why they have such a problem with plastic bags. It’s because the unique structure of their esophagus makes it so that they can’t get rid of them.
Learning that first person view is different between tf2 classes (because of height) has fucked up my entire night . The heights of the characters are not only lil fun facts but relevant to gameplay. Sniper can see over many sightlines and obstacles/props because he’s one of the tallest dudes. Scout is a disgusting slouched fucking gargoyle with poor posture who can’t see over shit, so he has to go up close. Engie is the shortest so he can bap his teleporters without having to crouch (as every other class you have to crouch to melee teles…). Wha t the fuck. this blasts my anus into the milky way.
Well, that don’t work in the scene I’m doing it’s too cute not to draw.
DAWWW SO CUTE :>
they use human chairs but really badly
same
Wait elongated chairs y’all. Eight chair legs instead of one, they can lie down majestically and put their chins on the table like they were always meant to.
